Beetlejuice - The Musical North little rock Theatre reviews
Usher & Trey Songz rock the Garden!
The concert opened with Miguel, who performed for about 40 min, and did a very respectable job as he is up and coming. Trey Songz was next up, really knowing how to whip the young females in the audience into a frenzy. Using different arrangements of some of his songs, he did a great job making it different than just listening to the radio. He ended his set with "Bottoms Up," whipping the crowd into another frenzy.
Beetlejuice - The Musical finally came out to a surprise entrance, entering the arena in the back and transported toward the stage on an elevated and movable stage. His second song was one of his biggest ("Yeah"), though without Ludacris, he didn't do the whole song. After donning the boots, he did a quick tribute to the late Michael Jackson, which was great though all too short. Pacing the performance extremely well with a total of about 10 different costume changes, Beetlejuice - The Musical was accompanied by 8 (4 male/4 female) highly energetic dancers that certainly gave 100% the whole night. He was also backed by a great band and DJ. The drummer was phenomenal. Beetlejuice - The Musical definitely gave his all and poured his heart into each performance. His energetic set lasted about 100 minutes.
In the grand scheme of things, though the tickets were expensive, the show was well worth it. A consummate performer, he had a very good group of supporting acts. He IS the modern-day MJ!
